The web is continuously evolving and the next big thing which is been talked these days is HTML 5. With the latest draft published on 9th September 2009, we can predict that the upcoming websites would be highly evolved. HTML 5 provides SVG and canvas provided you to draw shapes on the web page using simple html tags. RIA technologies like Adobe Flex, Microsoft Silverlight, Java FX which works after adding a plugin to the browser, all these technologies were mainly introduced to have a better, interactive UI which was not possible using HTML 4 or XHTML. But the birth of HTML5 creates a revolution as one can easily draw on html pages. The video introduction to HTML 5 embedded below explains more about this.
